I recognized the value of a practice tool like the SingHarmony CDs years ago when I prepared practice tapes singing all the parts to the Handel Choruses we sing myself. As a tenor, however, I had to sing the Soprano and Alto parts an octave lower than written. It worked but not as well as your CDs. The fact that a balance knob can isolate and nearly eliminate the part is also a stroke of genius. You took a terrific idea and improved on it immensely. I was so thrilled to find a product like yours available. I recommend it to anyone I can. I wish you much success.

Anyone who is conducting or singing in a community chorus that is performing Handel's "Messiah", will be interested in rehearsal CDs that have been excellently produced by an Alberta company. I know that I will be purchasing sets for the community chorus that I conduct. They will be thrilled to be able to have such fine singers as models during their at-home practice (which they might even do with this type of rehearsal CD). I am certain that this will also greatly reduce the amount of rehearsal time spent on learning notes, AND will speed up the process of communicating my own ideas of articulation, phrasing, and style that I want to bring to their performance.

The RES (Richard Eaton Singers) have done the Messiah so many times that practices were limited. This is my first year with them. Although I had done portions of it in the past, I certainly didn't have the experience of the RES singers. The Messiah CD was invaluable in enabling me to catch up at least close to their level and to be prepared enough to enjoy performing it at the Winspear with the ESO. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is in the position I was and, for that matter, anyone who would like to just sing along with a full-chorus CD, such as the Motab Choir.
